The back, sides and neck of this guitar are black walnut, the bindings and trim are ebony, and the perfling is curly maple. The top wood is western Red Cedar, salvaged from used building materials. It was designed to be a finger style guitar, with wide neck, slightly-smaller-than-000 body size, and slotted peghead. The ebony tuner buttons were hand made in the shape of violin pegs.
